Mel’s Funway Park is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of the HOLLY JOLLY JOURNEY!
The Holly Jolly Journey is a magnificent holiday light show where family & friends come together to walk this never before experienced journey. Spanning over ⅔ of a mile, we invite you to stroll through the Zoo of Lights, down Candy Cane Lane, inside our Ice Cave and into the North Pole. From high in the sky, to where you walk below, all around millions of lights will glow!
Patrons will not only enjoy breathtaking light displays, but a variety of food and refreshment stations along their journey. Holiday music and numerous photo opportunities are all part of the experience. So, grab a hot cocoa, enjoy a s’more, sip a seasonal cocktail and make the merriest of memories during your visit to the Holly Jolly Journey.

Tickets for the Holly Jolly Journey are $25.00 for adults (13 & older), $15.00 for children (ages 4 to 12) and $20.00 for Seniors (age 65 and up). Children age 3 and under enjoy FREE admission. Prices are subject to change at any time.
We suggest ticket reservations for the Holly Jolly Journey be purchased online. To purchase – CLICK HERE – ticket reservations made in advance guarantee your preferred date and time to visit.
You may also be able to purchase tickets at the door, it is the same exact price, however to ensure your reservation, it is best to purchase tickets online.
Each person 4 or older must have a ticket to enter the Holly Jolly Journey. Children age 3 or younger are free! Please be certain not to purchase a ticket for children 3 or younger as we will not be able to refund these tickets.
The park closes 1 hour after the ticket booth closes.
For a Holly Jolly Journey Reservation, guests select a specific day, date, and time to attend. For example, if you select a 5:30 pm reservation we ask that you arrive sometime between 5:30 pm and before 6:30 pm to begin your holiday adventure!
EXCEPTION: If you select the last ticket time - example 9:30 pm tickets must be checked in no later than 9:30 pm.
The Holly Jolly Journey Trail closes one hour after the last ticket time sold for the evening. If you arrive before or after the time slot booked, no worries – you will still be able to successfully check in for the next available time slot.
Absolutely! When purchasing your tickets online, you will have the opportunity to pre-purchase our Basic Photo Package for $29.99. The package will include 1 5x7 Photo and 4 wallet photos. Immediately after your visit, you may view photos taken and select your favorite – additional upgraded packages are available for your consideration. Special note: all tickets and photo packages purchased are final sale. Refunds are not offered.
When purchasing ticket(s) for the Holly Jolly Journey, you will be asked to select a time-slot for you and your guests to arrive. You may check in anytime within the hour time-slot selected.

All Holly Jolly Journey Ticket Reservations are final sale. Refunds are not offered. You may change your reservations by contacting our ticket company, Showpass. Contact support@showpass.com or call (844) 307-7469.

All ticket reservations for the Holly Jolly Journey may be selected HERE. After purchase, you will receive an email - provided you accurately enter your email address. Ticket reservations and a copy of your credit card receipt will be sent directly to you. The confirmation will come from Showpass – Please be certain to also check your Spam folder.

Holly Jolly Journey will be open every evening regardless of unfavorable weather conditions; however, if severe weather is predicted, we may delay opening or close for the evening. All holding ticket reservations for the evening will be emailed and alerted if a necessary change in our schedule is required. Follow us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, X-formerly Twitter).
We have plenty of FREE parking available for your visit.
The Holly Jolly Journey trail and surrounding areas are compacted gravel pathways.
For small children, we recommend a stroller or wagon to help little ones walk along the Holly Jolly Journey trail. For your convenience we will have a ‘children’s wagon’ (for 2) available for rental ($10, while supplies last).
The Holly Jolly Journey Trail is yours for the evening. You may walk the trail as often as you would like during your visit, but plan on 1 hour start to finish. Stroll through – enjoy a beverage, savor a snack & take in the lights of the night surrounding you!
Unfortunately, dogs and other pets are not allowed at the Holly Jolly Journey. There are too many unfamiliar sights & sounds along with adults & children. Some people are afraid of dogs and other pets. With the millions of lights blinking, sounds, and other stimuli there is a risk of a pet behaving in an unfamiliar way. To ensure the safety of all guests & staff, we do not allow pets.
In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, we do allow certified service animals.
We recommend checking the weather forecast for Litchfield, NH on the date and time you plan to visit. Dress as you would for a long outdoor walk under those weather conditions. Generally, it makes sense to dress in layers so that you can adjust your clothing for the weather during your visit. In terms of footwear, we recommend sturdy boots, shoes or sneakers to walk in comfort.
At the Holly Jolly Journey there are multiple areas available offering food and spirits for all ages. Please be certain to carry a valid ID if you want to enjoy a seasonal adult beverage. We appreciate responsible drinking.
No, it is not permitted to have outside food and beverage at the Holly Jolly Journey. We offer several options for snacks and beverages for all.

Smoking is not allowed at the Holly Jolly Journey. Smoking is allowed in the parking lot area only.
